Sorry I haven't written in here! We have been very busy, and in all honesty, I forgot.
The first full day here was Bastille Day, so we went to a little party during the day.
We met all of Juliette's friends and talked in French for so long, I fell asleep on the
floor at the end! In the evening, we saw fireworks in Grenoble. They were the most
beautiful fireworks I have ever seen.

The next day was Coline's birthday, so we went shopping in Grenoble, where I bought
some shorts, a vest, and a necklace for Molleigh. At night, we went to Coline's house and
ate dinner.

On the 16th, we went to the mountains nearby. We went on about a 30 minute walk up
them...it was a bit hard but very much worth it. It was gorgeous. Except on the way down,
I slipped and fell...in cow poop. Only me, right?

Yesterday, we went to la mer du glace, kind of like a glacier. We walked down to a cave
made of ice, which was even more beautiful than the mountains. It was sad, though, because
on the way down, there were signs that said the glacier was this high in this year.
In 2000, it was maybe 50 feet higher than it is now.

Today, we are going into Lyon to walk around and see the city. After, we are going to
see the XX, which I am very, very excited for!
